Chris undertook his dental training in Queens University dental hospital in Belfast. He graduated with distinction in restorative and conservative dentistry and these areas still remain his main focus in dentistry. Since qualifying he has worked as a general practitioner in the Northwest. He has built up an excellent relationship with the patients and dentists in this area and feels he understands the needs and expectations of the dental population.
Chris is well known for his gentle and understanding approach to all his patients. He likes to give his patients all possible options for treatment and let them come to an informed decision on how they would like to proceed. He is very interested in smile design and cosmetic restorative dentistry. Chris has an excellent relationship with some of the top ceramists in the UK and because of this he gets excellent results when working with crowns, veneers and bridges.
Chris is always looking to keep up with the constantly changing practice of dentistry, to this end he is an avid believer that postgraduate dental courses are a must to keep up with modern dental practice. Last Year he Completed the Nobel Biocare certificate in Implant Dentistry Under Consultant periodontal and oral surgeon, Mr. Raj Patel of Sheffield university. Since undergoing this training Chris has completed many Implant cases and feels that this is an area of dentistry that complements his restorative style.
When he is not working, Chris Can be found playing Rugby with City of derry RFC, hitting the gym or surfing off one of the Northwests various beaches.
