Dr Khalid Hussain B.D.S L.D.S R.C.S – 60358

Dr. Khalid Hussain BDS LDS RCS qualified from Guys Hospital London in 1985 obtaining the BDS and LDS RCS from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Since qualification Dr. Hussain has concentrated on remaining at the forefront of the dental profession particularly in cosmetic dentistry. He established the highly regarded Cosmetic Centre of Excellence in England before moving to Northern Ireland.

Dr. Hussain has completed a rigorous regime of post graduate training in various London and Manchester hospitals. He has also trained with some of the worlds leading cosmetic dentists including celebrity New York cosmetic dentist Dr. Larry Rosenthal – more widely known as “The dentist to the stars” and Dr. Orr from the London Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr Rosenthal’s clients include some of the biggest stars in Holywood, Michael Douglas, Matt Dillion, Catherine Zeta Jones to name a few.

Dr Hussain has particular expertise in the fields of advanced cosmetic dentistry, implants facial rejuvenation, sedation and smile design. With Dr. Hussain’s advanced training and enthusiasm for cosmetic dentistry he has gained an enviable reputation for creating the prefect smile. He is one of the most experienced and talented cosmetic dentists in Ireland.

Dr. Hussain is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) as well as holding membership on SAAD for Sedation in Dentistry and in the B.D.A

Along with all this he is renowned for his caring and gentle approach and dedication to customer care. His inspirational approach towards customer care has been recognised as the best in the North West and Foyle Dental Spa has been awarded Excellence in Customer Care by the Local Women Business Awards 2012.

Dr. Hussain has completed rigorous training of further qualifications in London and Manchester, some of which are listed below;

  • 3 years multi discipline implant courses with Dr. C. Ucer in Manchester allowing a variety of implant systems to be used and treatment of complex cases.
  • 2 years of advanced cosmetic courses in London with Dr. Chris Orr and with the Q – Clinic at Harley Street.
  • Further cosmetic training with Dr. Larry Rosenthal from the USA, who is the cosmetic dentist to a lot of the Hollywood stars, this was truly inspirational.
  • 3 years was spent at the Paul Tipton Academy of Advanced Restorative Dentistry in Manchester.
  • SAAD for Sedation in Dentistry in London.
  • Cosmetic orthodontics using the advanced Six Month Smile System and invisible braces, smile design and smile makeovers.
